    As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will provide foundational support to the IT Support team through duties in inventory management, computer imaging, and installation of computer hardware for incoming new employees. You must have a passion for managing a large workload under tight deadlines and supporting a company that builds space vehicles. The IT General Helper is a member of the Information Technology department and reports directly to the Manager of IT Support. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.


    • Perform documented Helpdesk duties, based on documented procedures
    • Install, configure, deploy, and remove computer hardware, software, and peripherals
    • Field customer hardware supply requests
    • Image new computers and re-image existing computers
    • Maintain an inventory of all new computer hardware (receive, unbox, tag, and store)
    • Maintain an inventory of on hold and repurposed computer hardware
    • Maintain an inventory of IT supplies and other hardware (supply requests, pick up, and restock)
    • Manage shipping and receiving needs for the IT team
    • Perform clean up duties in all IT areas and manage electronic recycling


    • 0-1 years of related IT experience in computer imaging and basic break/fix troubleshooting
    • Customer service oriented attitude to support computer users
    • Knowledge of system imaging technologies, such as Windows Deployment Services and Microsoft SCCM
    • Able to quickly adapt to fast changing priorities and deadlines
    • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.


    • Recommended to be on track for an Associate's degree or better with an IT focus
