  • Overview

    As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will lead the definition, prioritization, evangelizing, and coordination across enterprise systems and business owners for various spaceflight, manufacturing, and business systems.  You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of providing innovative software solutions enabling our core processes, business activities, and production of spaceflight systems.  This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will required you dedicated commitment and detailed attentions towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.

    Responsibilities

    • Define the product roadmap in concert with business owners and executive sponsors to optimize business and manufacturing operations.
    • Analyze and identify needs for improvements to process, tools, systems, or integrations.
    • Prioritize product road maps in alignment with business needs and develop a delivery plan and schedule.
    • Manage and lead development resources and teams to support product road maps and schedule.
    • Deliver projects according to road maps and schedule.
    • Educate business owners and development teams on best practices for processes and tools supporting business and manufacturing operations.
    • Champion key initiatives with executive sponsors and management to deliver key functionality in support of existing production schedule and business operations rhythms.
    • Coordinate with product owners from other areas of responsibility to ensure that system dependencies and integrations are completed to support deployment of product initiatives.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • At least 8 years' experience leading the product ownership, definition, and delivery of complex systems supporting business operations.
    • Demonstrated experience coaching both developers and end users on best practices for systems and processes.
    • Knowledge of theories for Lean manufacturing, Supply Chain management, and other business operations areas.
    • Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple project deliverables simultaneously.
    • Proven leadership in an Agile Scrum development environment.
    • Demonstrated experience delivering large and complex infrastructure and software projects on time and under budget.
    • Must be a U.S. citizen or nation, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

    Desired

    • Master's degree in related field.
