  • Overview

    As part of a unique and highly-skilled team, you’ll participate in the financial operations of space launch vehicles. We are seeking a proactive, service-oriented individual with excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills that can thrive in a fast paced environment.  You will be primarily responsible for supporting finance executives within a fast-paced group supporting the development of human space flight hardware.  In this hands-on position, you'll work to increase the speed and efficiency of our finance executives, by supporting the timely delivery, quality and transparency of schedule and financial data to support the company’s business decisions. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.

    Responsibilities

    • Work closely and effectively with senior management to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately. Exercise good judgment while maintaining a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
    • High level of confidentiality and professionalism is essential
    • Candidates must uphold the highest level of integrity and business professionalism
    • Manage an active calendar of appointments. Plan, coordinate and ensure the schedule makes the best of use of their time.
    • Strong organizational skills, perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail. Prioritize conflicting needs. Handle matters expeditiously and proactively, following through on requirements to successful completion, often with deadline pressures. Adapt to competing demands
    • Arrange detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; compile documents for travel-related meetings. Complete expense reports
    • Onboarding of new employees
    • Compose, proofread and prepare draft documents and correspondence
    • Successfully complete tasks and critical aspects of deliverables
    • Work independently on projects, from conception to completion
    • Work collaboratively with admin peers, be a resource and a team player
    • Self-motivated, exercise sound judgment, tact, diplomacy, and integrity
    • Using strong interpersonal skills, build relationships with stakeholders
    • Other duties as assigned
    • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

    Qualifications

    • 5-10 years of Executive Support experience required
    • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Heavy MS Outlook
    • Candidates must uphold the highest level of integrity and business professionalism

    Desired

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Knowledge of finance or previous experience supporting a CFO
