  • Overview

    As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will help build a world-class supply chain organization supporting New Shepard, New Glenn, and Blue Engines by providing analytical support to inform leadership decision-making. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and deliver content for operational reviews with internal leadership
    • Collaborate with all departments to access and collect data that informs decision making
    • Build and maintain tools, analytics, and reporting to highlight performance metrics and other key information
    • Work with various subject matter experts to build reports and run analysis on various ad-hoc projects
    • Deliver actionable insights on financial performance and opportunities to reduce costs without impacting performance
    • Complete cost benefit justifications on strategic optimization decisions, including make/buy/where analysis, should-cost modeling, capacity analysis, and cashflow modeling
    • Lead key business analytics initiatives, as required
    • Give voice to the data, talk with people, ensure they understand what it means and it meets their needs

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of business analysis or consulting experience
    • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
    • Strong analytic skill set and a high degree of proficiency in data mining
    • Exceptional with Excel and manual data analysis
    • Excellent Interpersonal Communication Skills
    • Understanding of data structures and architecture
    • Experience working with Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau)
    • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

    Desired

    • B.S. Business, B.S. Engineering and/or MBA
    • Experience with manufacturing organizations and/or supply chain
    • Experience working at or supporting a Fortune 500 company
    • Confluence, JIRA, SQL, MySQL, Power Query, Power Pivot
