  • Overview

    As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will develop business intelligence tools and other software solutions to streamline the business cadence and improve situational awareness within the engines development team. Your solutions will address project planning objectives relating to schedule, budgets, cost models, and technical performance measures by tying historical data to future projections and trade studies. This open-ended position will use your creativity and skill to identify inefficiencies and design solutions.  It directly impacts the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.

    Responsibilities

    • Support the planning, execution, and direction for all phases of engines development projects
    • Create custom solutions that interface with commercial and enterprise software to automate program reporting
    • Identify and collect program metrics to inform cost models and highlight inefficiencies
    • Prepare and integrate inputs to technical proposals and trade studies
    • Assist in preparing business rhythm reviews and communication paths to senior management supporting program manager and business teams
    • Collaborate with other business units and business intelligence groups to coordinate solutions

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of a B.S. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
    • Proficiency in C#, Java, C++, Javascript, SQL, HTML, or similar
    • Database management
    • Demonstrated experience executing on fast-paced projects
    • Service oriented mindset with passion for identifying and serving needs of others
    • Comfort designing custom solutions with open-ended requirement sets
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and with little oversight
    • 3+ years industry experience
    • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

    Desired

    • Experience with Primavera (P6), CREO, Windchill, Confluence, Jira, Tableau
    • Experience across multiple portions of the product life cycle
