    As part of a small, passionate, accomplished and rapidly evolving team of experts, you will be responsible for working closely with engineering design and company leadership to support all manufacturing efforts and equipment related to building human rated orbital launch vehicles. This includes simultaneously defining the build process and equipment as well as planning and leading the manufacturing and assembly work for launch vehicle structures.

This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.


    • Startup new production work areas, including layouts, tooling and equipment procurement and setup, etc.
    • Assist with transition from development to production, including first articles
    • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct malfunctions by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control
    • Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency
    • Work off-shift, extended hours overtime, and weekends if/when necessary
    • Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to fulfilling the mission and vision


    • Expert engineer in manufacturing large tight-tolerance structures
    • B.S. degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, Materials, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent directly related years of experience
    • Ability to work effectively with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilities
    • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with teams of diverse skills across large geographic distances
    • Continuous improvement mindset. Our job is never complete; we are always refining and improving
    • Intense curiosity for understanding the details of our business and how to optimize it
    • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills and a proven ability to drive complex projects with minimal oversight
    • Strong written, personal, and computer skills. Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately at the executive leadership level and on the shop floor
    • Ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions, and test procedures
    • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum


    • Advanced degree, certification, and/or training in a directly related field
    • Aerospace/Launch vehicle experience
    • Experience working in a product design or manufacturing environment
    • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma processes and implementation
    • Proven experience and successful track record in support of a matrix organization
    • Proven experience with large scale assemblies and integration
