    As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will be a part of a new team that is building systems which deliver an incredible experience for our customers. These systems will allow our customers to send and receive data, manage their flights, and iterate faster on their experiments. Your users will be astronauts, researchers, satellite operators, and other customers that will fly missions with Blue. As a technical product manager, you are responsible for the vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery of systems that will directly enable millions of people to live and work in space. Your work will include designing user experiences, working directly with customers to understand their goals and desires, and translating that into a well-defined roadmap and vision for the development team to execute on. We want you to delight our customers by giving them software that is as beautiful, reliable, and easy to use as the rockets they will be flying on. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.



    • Partner with key stakeholders to define strategy

    • Establish relationships with our customers to understand their goals and desires and become a strong advocate for them

    • Define the vision, roadmap, and requirements for the software development team

    • Gain support for your strategy and roadmap from stakeholders by writing narratives and influencing peers and senior leadership

    • Addressing barriers through problem solving and coordination with stakeholders


    • 5+ years as a product manager, engineering manager, or similar role

    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proven ability to leverage data in decision making

    • A strong bias and intuition for good UI/UX design

    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences

    • Experience leading teams using agile methodologies

    • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (current Green Card holder)


    • Experience designing / developing public facing products

    • Familiarity with distributed and scalable systems
