  • Overview

    As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will support the design, development and fabrication of space launch vehicles and components to support human spaceflight programs. This is a hands-on position that requires strong communication, organization, planning, and project management skills. The master scheduler aligns company level resources across the business units, predicts future demands by working with the slaes team and business units and recommends adjustments to plans, schedules, or resources.  This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.


    • Align company level resources across business units and functional areas.

    • Predict future demands by working with the sales team and business units.

    • Recommend adjustments to plans, schedules or resources.

    • Coordinate, maintain, communicate and drive schedule to ensure on time delivery for service centers and integrated areas.

    • Communicate and coordinate upcoming work center load (capacity planning) to provide visibility area leads.

    • Identify and communicate any constraints in the production flow and work with the area leads and managers to discuss possible solutions.

    • Interface and communicate with customers for potential impact or delays in the schedule

    • Work hand-in-hand with production control team to make sure that all issues that are related scheduling are properly handled and resolved

    • Prepare analysis and reports as needed regarding production demand projections, current status and future constraint projections, and others as needed.

    • Negotiate and work with business units and customers to resolve conflicts and accept demand prior to entry into the business system.

    • Gatekeeper for loading and managing demand within the business system.


    • Minimum of a Bachelors degree in business or commensurate professional experience

    • Five to ten years of schedule management experience

    • Excellent project management skills.

    • Strong interpersonal skills to interface with manufacturing personnel and organizational management.

    • Familiarity with MS project or equivalent software

    • Experience working with inventory and or database systems

    • Experience using and managing ERP/MRP systems.

    • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (current Green Card holder)


    • Bachelors degree in operations management

    • Five or more years of experience using MRP/ERP systems including setting up system parameters, item master records, and demand planning screens

    • Experience with MPS functionality in addition to MRP

    • Exibit good leadership abilities 

    • Experience with Primavera scheduling software

    • Experience in a both development and production environments
