    As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will support the design, development and fabrication of space launch vehicles and components to support human spaceflight programs. This is a hands-on position that requires strong communication, organization, planning, and project management skills. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.


    • Coordinate, maintain, communicate and drive schedule to ensure on time delivery for service centers and integrated areas
    • Schedule management throughout the day in P6 to maintain a dynamic accurate schedule.  Clearly communicate the status of each job.  (Transition to Production Scheduling tool when available)
    • Coordinate the schedule, plan, and initial staging of material/kits to all necessary areas of production. 
    • Communicate and coordinate upcoming work center load (capacity planning) to provide visibility area leads.
    • Identify and communicate any constraints in the production flow and work with the area leads and managers to discuss possible solutions.
    • Interface and communicate with customers for potential impact or delays in the schedule
    • Coordinate with Maintenance team and Shop Leads for preventative maintenance schedule for machines, where applicable.
    • Management of WO Instance from creation to completion.
    • Tracking and closure of all outstanding orders (In all business systems)
    • Request and coordinates material kits needed to support production and have it delivered to the work center prior to the planned start date.
    • Plan, monitor and manage material requirements and availability for supported areas.
    • Coordinate all part handling that could involve having crates built, packing material for out plant processes, etc.
    • Notify procurement/programs of any parts gone missing or adjusted out of inventory during physical and cycle counts.
    • Updating estimated on-dock dates in P6 (or scheduling system), ex: assemblies in inventory ready for vehicle install. 


    • Minimum of a AA or Bachelors degree in business or commensurate professional experience
    • Five years of schedule management experience
    • Familiarity with MS project or equivalent software
    • Experience working with inventory and or database systems
    • Experience using and managing ERP/MRP systems.
    • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.


    • Bachelors degree in operations management
    • Three or more years of experience using MRP/ERP systems
    • Experience with Primavera scheduling software
    • Experience in a both development and production environments
