    As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will lead communications for New Glenn. As a proactive strategist with employee and external communications experience, developing communications programs that deliver business outcomes, you will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of New Glenn. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention toward safe and repeatable spaceflight.


    • Manage employee communications channels (including intranet) and rhythm, tracking ROI.
    • Develop & execute strategic communications plans for the business unit, managing the overall communication process.
    • Act as a corporate journalist - mine, craft and distribute compelling stories that enhance the employee experience.
    • Consult on change management initiatives and plan/draft/execute change communication plans.
    • Support, collaborate and contribute to organizational initiatives.
    • Write talking points, FAQs, presentations and other content.
    • Work with teams in Kent, West Texas, Cape Canaveral, and Washington, D.C.


    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
    • Able to operate both strategically and tactically.
    • Proficient in Photoshop or similar program to develop visual assets for internal use.
    • Experience (corporate or agency environment) in employee communications and executive communications.
    • Work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Clear thinking, communication and problem-solving skills with demonstrated success leading multiple projects/initiatives.
    • Able to quickly grasp new ideas and tools;
    • Able to simplify strategy into specific actions with clear accountability;
    • Able to make decisions with speed and accuracy based on best available information.
    • High judgment and high energy.
    • Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
    • A self-starter with passion for the space industry.
    • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (current Green Card holder)


    • Experience in space, aerospace, technology or related industry.
    • AP style.
    • Demonstrated success supporting and managing communications for senior-level business clients.
    • Experience working across multiple levels, functions and regions.
    • Adaptability: being open to change in response to new information, feedback, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations.
    • External focus: Understanding marketplace dynamics, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
    • Experience working in a matrixed environment.
