As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will hand work flight vehicle components. With a specific knowledge of aerospace tolerance, materials, and workmanship standards, you’ll perform light machining, remove rough edges and polish parts. With minimal to no supervision, you must deburr and inspect high tolerance high value hardware to drawing and standard workmanship specifications. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.


  • Proper selection of tools for perform task needed
  • Review and understand deburr callouts per drawing
  • Perform light duty machining on mills and lathes
  • Use drill press, grinders and abrasives
  • Able to work using microscope
  • Proper selection of tools for perform task needed
  • Follow work instructions either verbal or written
  • Communicate with team to provide feedback and status
  • Work completion time estimates
  • Process improvement
  • Maintain configuration control on files and job records
  • Safely work within an industrial environment


  • A minimum of 1 years of experience in deburring aerospace components
  • Blue print reading skills including GD&T per current ASME Y14.5M standard
  • Proper tool selection with appropriate materials
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Mechanically inclined with good manual dexterity
  • Perform repetitive work
  • Must have hard metals experience
  • Fluent in use of precision measuring hand tools
  • Familiar with use of personal computers
  • Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (current Green Card holder)


  • Experience with conventional and CNC mills, lathes
  • Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around flight critical hardware
  • Outside processing knowledge (heat treat, plating, coating, EDM, grinding, etc.)
  • Experience deburring tight tolerance, high value components
